We've come a long way. The name, if you didn’t guess, comes from the temperature at which our biscuits are baked. 15 years ago it also represented a 180 degree shift for Jill and Frank returning home with a baby (as you do) after years cooking overseas. From the glamorous addresses of Mayfair and Onslow gardens in London to Provence, Biarritz and Madrid, catering to the super rich and famous, to a tiny-tiny space at the back of Kapiti cheese in downtown Auckland. From the beginning we applied the perfection in taste and presentation expected by our previous clients and passed it on to you with the addition of lots love.
Nigel joined us as a director in 2003 bringing a background in engineering, packaging, food distribution and sales. He's worked with companies like Lisa's, Phoenix and several others. With his passion for good healthy food and his eye on the business detail, we've expanded from supplying cafes and specialty stores to airlines, supermarkets and export. Not compromising on quality and presentation, our loyal and hard working staff of 15 are absolutely committed to baking beautiful biscuits, crackers and snacks - and they do!
It's all about taste. We use the words "real" and "the best" when describing our ingredients, that’s because they really are, you can taste the difference, we promise. We’re also defined by what we don’t add. Creating for taste, we don’t add fillers and unnecessary padding or preservatives and will take the healthy option as long as it tastes good.
